Printing with SD enabled can not be Paused

When printing Normally from HDD, but if the SD card is enabled, it is not possible to pause the print.

SD printing byte 0/0
ok T:215.04 @:163.43
Paused.
SD printing byte 0/0
ok T:215.00 @:164.55

hm, yes, i am aware of that, but not aware that this is a problem. What should it do if you print from sd? You can not always expect that there is a computer attached.

No the sd is enabled but i am not printing from sd. Printing from hdd.

We should make a if/else to have different functions depending if sd is printing or not. Thanks for reporting this!

thats not an option, its a compile-time decision for memory useage reasons. There is no advantage of the host being able to change that. The firmware can distinguish if the its printing from sd or not.

Actually I just noticed that after I printed once from SD I can pause the print.
I will observe further and report...
