Description

Describe the bug
There is no limit on the amount of non-pump insulin accepted by Loop.

N/A

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Tap on Insulin Delivery Graph
  2. Tap on '+' at upper right
  3. Enter a bolus amount, in this case 1000 U
  4. Tap on log dose
  5. Loop accepts that amount

This can also happen by entering a value in Apple Health under insulin when it was supposed to be a carb entry or glucose entry.

Expected behavior
I think this is an oversight in the design.
In my opinion, the should be limited - I suggest something like 2 or 3 times the maxBolus amount.

Screenshots

  • The screenshot on the left is after entering 1000 U of external insulin in Loop.
  • The screenshot on the right is after entering 300 U in Apple Health.
