Zigbee2MQTT version
2.7.1 (unknown)
External converter
import * as m from 'zigbee-herdsman-converters/lib/modernExtend';
export default {
zigbeeModel: ['SLZB-07'],
model: 'SLZB-07',
vendor: 'SMLIGHT',
description: 'Zigbee USB coordinator/router with controllable LED',
extend: [m.onOff({ powerOnBehavior: false })],
};What does/doesn't work with the external definition?
What works
- SLZB-07 is used in router firmware mode.
- The device joins the network and works as a Zigbee router without issues.
- The external converter exposes the on-board LED as a
lightentity via thegenOnOffcluster. - Turning the light on/off from Home Assistant correctly controls the LED on the stick.
Why I submit this
- The built-in definition does not expose the LED as a controllable entity.
- In ZHA the LED was exposed as a light and could be turned off (useful for wall-mounted/tablet installs in a dark room).
- With this external converter Zigbee2MQTT behaves the same: the LED can be controlled from HA.
Limitations / Notes
- Tested only with SLZB-07 running router firmware, not coordinator firmware.
- Only basic on/off control is implemented, no brightness or effects (the LED is just binary).
