Connectivity issues with Conbee II and firmware 0x26780700 (MacNoAck)

Current state:

Connectivity issues with error code ApsNoAck have been fixed; problems with MacNoAck remain unresolved. The manufacturer wanted to start working on a firmware update in October 2025, see comment below.

What happened?

I have tested the new ConBee integration in Z2M v2.5.0/v2.5.1 and upgraded my Conbee 2 adapter from the previously working Firmware 0x26580700 to the latest version 0x26780700. Unfortunately, now the connection to several devices is much less stable than before. A IKEA SILVERGLANS IP44 LED driver, firmware 1.0.021 (20181203), which worked for several years flawlessly (both with deCONZ and with Z2M and the old firmware), now looses connection about once a week (here I tried to re-interview the still powered device, which lost connectivity for no apparent reason):

Only re-powering the SILVERGLANS fixes this issue, which is rather inconvenient.

Another device, Innr RS 227 T also keeps having issues every few days:

Some other devices like presence sensors also do seem to work only randomly. For now, I reverted my firmware back to 0x26580700. Sure, newer firmwares might fix other important issues, but the current situation is just highly unstable and not usable in production setups. I cannot recommend using a ConBee II with Z2M - which is a shame, since the adapter works quite fine when using deCONZ.

Until this issues get fixed, I would recommend to reinstate the firmware warning on the Conbee device page, since I am definitely not the only one with this problem.

Thanks - I will try that. In fact, v4.3.2 seems to address exactly my error message:

deCONZ: Disable APS ACKs to not block queues for now (Koenkk/zigbee-herdsman#1440) (fd49db2)

Since the issues only occur once every few days, it might take some time until I can report back any improvements.

I have the 2.4.0 z2m version and 4.1.0 zigbee-herdsman version at a moment.

Yes, dependencies update with each new Z2M version (and more frequently in dev branch).

2.4.0 is not concerned by the deconz refactoring mentioned in this issue though (that was introduced in 2.5.0).

The conbee 2 Stick is pretty old, like 10years.
Latest Firmware is over two years.
Maybe it's time for a Hardware Upgrade.

That's absolutely no reason to replace an otherwise fully-functional device. As I stated above: The ConBee II works both with deCONZ and with the old Firmware+Z2M. And this exact issue is actively being worked on by the authors of deCONZ.

For the developer of z2m it is sometimes Hard to fully support older Hard coordinators with the Evolution of Software L.
Not sure if the deconz authors are working in this, so you have a link to their Bug Ticket?
I replace my conbee2 Stick a few Werks ago with a SLZB-06.

This was on Herdsman v4.4.1. Just upgraded to v5.0.1; but there were seemingly no changes to the deCONZ code in the meantime.
