Description
Current state:
Connectivity issues with error code ApsNoAck have been fixed; problems with MacNoAck remain unresolved. The manufacturer wanted to start working on a firmware update in October 2025, see comment below.
What happened?
I have tested the new ConBee integration in Z2M v2.5.0/v2.5.1 and upgraded my Conbee 2 adapter from the previously working Firmware 0x26580700 to the latest version 0x26780700. Unfortunately, now the connection to several devices is much less stable than before. A IKEA SILVERGLANS IP44 LED driver, firmware 1.0.021 (20181203), which worked for several years flawlessly (both with deCONZ and with Z2M and the old firmware), now looses connection about once a week (here I tried to re-interview the still powered device, which lost connectivity for no apparent reason):
error 2025-07-21 14:18:43z2m: Request 'zigbee/bridge/request/device/interview' failed with error: 'interview of 'Licht Bad Wandschrank' (0x842e14fffe53302a) failed: Error: Interview failed because can not get active endpoints ('0x842e14fffe53302a')'

Only re-powering the SILVERGLANS fixes this issue, which is rather inconvenient.
Another device, Innr RS 227 T also keeps having issues every few days:
error 2025-07-21 14:18:49z2m: Publish 'set' 'state' to 'Licht Flur Eingang' failed: 'Error: ZCL command 0x18fc260000b77e2c/1 genLevelCtrl.moveToLevelWithOnOff({"level":0,"transtime":1.0000000149011612}, {"timeout":10000,"disableResponse":false,"disableRecovery":false,"disableDefaultResponse":false,"direction":0,"reservedBits":0,"writeUndiv":false}) failed (failed to send ZCL request (5) Error: Failed APS-DATA.request with confirm status: ApsNoAck (0xa7))'
After re-powering these devices, another error message occurs:
error 2025-07-21 14:29:52z2m: EventBus error 'OnEvent/deviceAnnounce': ZCL command 0x842e14fffe53302a/1 genLevelCtrl.write({"options":1}, {"timeout":10000,"disableResponse":false,"disableRecovery":false,"disableDefaultResponse":true,"direction":0,"reservedBits":0,"writeUndiv":false}) failed (failed to send ZCL request (8) Error: Failed APS-DATA.request with confirm status: ApsNoAck (0xa7))

Some other devices like presence sensors also do seem to work only randomly. For now, I reverted my firmware back to 0x26580700. Sure, newer firmwares might fix other important issues, but the current situation is just highly unstable and not usable in production setups. I cannot recommend using a ConBee II with Z2M - which is a shame, since the adapter works quite fine when using deCONZ.
Until this issues get fixed, I would recommend to reinstate the firmware warning on the Conbee device page, since I am definitely not the only one with this problem.
Please let me know if you need any further information.
