F-droid build is almost 1GB in size, compared to ~160MB of the manual download package for Android (installed size)

Current Behavior

F-Droid version took ages to download. Checked the installed size because of this, shows it to be 0.99GB.
Uninstalled and tried the manual package install (package downloaded directly from Github). Installed size is just 160MB.

Expected Behavior

Expecting the download and install size of the different distribution channels to be nearly identical.

After seeing that package size is shown to be 122MB on F-Droid page, I removed the manual installed version and tried the F-Droid installation again.
Download now went fast as would be expected and installation size is just 136MB.
Have no idea what happened the first time... Marking as closed, as not reproducible.
