ThinkPrompt MCP Server

Model Context Protocol server for ThinkPrompt — connect Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools to your team's coding standards, requirements, and project management.

Overview

The ThinkPrompt MCP Server implements the Model Context Protocol to bridge AI assistants with the ThinkPrompt platform. It provides 85 tools that let AI agents manage style guides, requirements, projects, documents, workflows, and more — all from within your IDE.

Installation

No installation required! The MCP server runs via npx:

npx @honeyfield/thinkprompt-mcp

Troubleshooting

Issue	Solution
Tools not appearing	Restart Claude / Cursor after saving config
Authentication errors	Verify your API key at thinkprompt.ai/settings
Connection timeout	Check that the API URL is accessible
npx not found	Ensure Node.js (v18+) is installed and in PATH
