Hi everyone,
I’ve been following your work on Context Engineering (arXiv:2510.26493) and it was a fantastic read.
I’m writing to suggest including a section or reference to Harness Engineering. It’s becoming a significant trend in the agentic AI nowadays (OpenAI recently highlighted this shift in their article Harness engineering: leveraging Codex in an agent-first world).
While Context Engineering focuses on the context of LLM/Agent, Harness Engineering provides the scaffolding (safety rails, deterministic environments, and validation loops) that allows agents to act reliably. I’ve written a brief, intuitive medium piece on how these two concepts complement each other here: Harness Engineering for Vibe Coding.
I think adding this broader perspective would be a valuable update for your readers.
Best,
Amirkia
