Provide link to pieceCid

I want to have a link like https://pdp.vxb.ai/calibration/piece/$pieceCid that brings me to a page that shows:

1. All the information that is in the current dataset view:

2. The dataset(s) the piece is present in. Each dataset listed should be a hyperlink to the dataset detail page.

3. Any metadata stored onchain about the piece (e.g., "label").

4. Any proofs related to the piece.

This ask is coming from the filecoin pin website, where ideally when we show the filecoin piece CID, we could link to a page dedicated to the piece. Right now we just link to the dataset explorer page.

We will go with something simpler for the next release, the piece page will show

• overview:
  • number of copies this piece is stored
  • number of dataset has this piece
  • number of SP storing this piece
  • last proving time
• a table shows all dataset that include this piece
  • we can show the screen shoot linked above, will change id to datasetID and RootCID to Provider ID
  • we can link the dataset too
• i dont think we should do 3 - piece metadata is service level information, that PDP verifier doesnt have those information
• what proof do you mean? i think showing the last proving time is more useful info to users then proof

overview

Sounds good. My general principal is wherever possible, provide a link for someone to learn more. So if we say "X SPs are storing this piece", provide a way for me to find who these X providers are. It looks like a user can get this info by clicking into the dataset table - great!

Sounds good. Yes, definitely provide a link to the "detail page" of the dataset.

Good point - doesn't make sense in a pure PDP context.

proofs

I'm not up on all the technical details here regarding PDP proofs, but my comment is more just flowing from the same general principle above of "give the interested user an ability to learn more". So for example, if we say last proven on datetime X, is there a transaction we can link to where that proof occurred? Again I don't know the specifics, but maybe an easy way to give the interested user info if they want to dig in is to provide some sort of "transaction table", or if the providing period is daily, we have a row per day and in that row we link to a proof transaction if there was one?

Anyways, I know all the comments above take time and aren't free. Something is better than nothing here. Just having a https://pdp.vxb.ai/calibration/piece/$pieceCid url that we can link to and improve with time will be great.

I personally would like to see a list of any transactions related to proofs so I can see the proofing history. In addition to "Last Proven Epoch" I'd also like to see how reliably the piece has proven. Heatmaps are nice, but if you just expose for me a table of transactions I can dig into it as well.

If it was possible to see the proofs for a specific piece, then I would like to see the list of proofs. Per conversation with @jennijuju though, that isn't possible (or at least not easy). "Last Proven Epoch" is actually "what is the most recent epoch of a dataset that was proven that has this piece". Given we can't target proofs to a piece, then I agree showing "Last Proven Epoch" is good enough and I don't have other feedback.
