Text input is super flaky on Android (and iOS)?

To reproduce:

1. Open Android app (v50)
2. Try to use voice-to-text (or really any use of the keyboard)
3. Notice how it'll stop the microphone after a single word, or the text will jump around

If I had to guess, I think it's related to the weird jumping cursor issue @chiragsalian is working on here #457
I also just bumped that from MEDIUM to HIGH (actually CRITICAL as of 9/14) since it's affecting many people

Yup i should be fixing the text input on mobile devices with this GH. Its got a PR for review and should hopefully be merged and go live soon today.
