effects etc added to motion templates have yellow triangle!!

DESCRIBE THE BUG:
When I add effects etc to Motion Template folders they show up in FCP - but - when I try and apply them the yellow triangle and exclam. point show up. I've tried everything. ".localized" has been added to all folders and items within folders.
I'm running FCP 10.6.7, Motion 5,

SPECS:
2018 Mac Mini 3.2 Ghz 6 core Intel i7 with 64 GB RAM. Sonoma 14.7.4

You might be possibility using templates created in a version of Motion that's too new for FCP 10.6.7?
