Basic HTML and GIT knowledge is required.
- Clone this repository
- Create a new directory under
slideswith the name of your presentation. No gaps please, check the other names. - Copy the contents of the
slides/templateor other presentations that you like. - Style it with HTML/CSS/JS. This can be tricky so trial and error is adviced. Any time you want to view the changes refresh the
index.htmllocally in the browser. - When you want to see it running as an online website commit and push. A pipeline runs and generates a link like: https://centrefordigitalhumanities.github.io/cdh-presentations/slides/name-of-the-presentation-folder/ Voilà!
slides/templatestyling inspired from Template repository for creating a UU styled Quarto presentation (Presentation); which is based on the more advanced Quarto (Books).- UU styled branding items from Branding and the Brand Policy Index, starting from the Centre for Digital Humanities.
- Elements from the UU Bootstrap repository; see https://utrechtuniversity.github.io/UU-Bootstrap/.
