Gemini quota error: You have exhausted your capacity on this model

Hey,
just want to double check,

i'm getting error quota limitations very fast: `gemini You have exhausted your capacity on this model. Your quota will reset after 0s``

is it the same for you?

the results seem also not as good as claude. what do you think?

I haven't run it yet, but I still see references to Claude's models (opus, sonnet, haiku) all over. It might be related.

i think it's the gemini 3 preview model that is the bottleneck at the moment

but tbh, it's currently not usable with gemini cli at the moment.

I am using Gemini right now and I have no issues so far. Pro AI plan here using Gemini 3 on auto with --yolo. Fun fact: I used Claude to make my own Gemini CLI conversion from the original repository. I use both Claude and Gemini in parallel on different projects.

As a side note for the commands to work correctly in Gemini we had to convert them in .toml files. A few other conversions like the fetch commands and web search and especially the sub agents invocation had to be rewritten. But Claude handled everything fine. It still needed a few nudgets to do so correctly. But after a few tried it was ok.
