Some DACs expect MCLK to be active or it won't accept any configuration changes. When power safe is active or directly after boot I2S will stay disabled if power safe is one and therefore no MCLK. Server will send server settings and esp client tries to apply those settings but without MCLK they get discarded as player will only be started on first received audio chunk. Any suggestions how to address this? @anabolyc I remember you had a similar problem?
