metrics: Review attributes cardinality

We're storing data with very high cardinality in our metrics attributes (eg manaUsed in a tx), which according to @alexghr will blow up Prometheus. We need to review all the attributes we're tracking and make sure they're sane.

Can/should we be doing e.g. math.floor(log(metric))?
