Today, I experimented with the FFmpeg source. The stream I tested is a DVB-T2 broadcast from a local provider. I used Cesbo Astra for its decoding. VLC plays the stream without any issues.

Your problems not related to go2rtc version. They related to broken stream and FFmpeg version.

1. [h264 @ 0x563920b7c980] - this is error from FFmpeg. Because stream broken. If FFmpeg can't handle it, it's hard to suggest other options.
2. unsupported version: 4.2.7-0ubuntu0.1 - this is because FFmpeg 4 unsupported. Actual FFmpeg version - 7. Minimum supported version - 5. Version 4 is VERY outdated.

I'm not sure if the stream is broken. This behavior is typical for dvb-t/c/s, there are other examples from other providers.

A bunch of FFmpeg errors means that there are problems with the stream.
There is indeed a problem in go2rtc that there is a panic when these errors are handled incorrectly. I'll fix it.

Switching to the ffmpeg source (in go2rtc.yaml, just change 'v4l2' to 'ffmpeg') resolved the issue.
