Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Wikipedia app and search an article
2. After 7-10 articles opened Wikipedia suddenly stops loading more articles until cache is cleaned or Adguard filtering is disabled

Expected Behavior

Wikipedia must work smoothly without interruption

Actual Behavior

Wikipedia's loading is interrupted till Adguard is disabled

I was not able to reproduce your issue on my side. The articles in the Wikipedia app load as usual even after I opened 15+ articles. Could you install the latest version of the AdGuard and reproduce the issue again?
If the bug still occurs, to troubleshoot this issue, we need to get your application logs.

Here's what we need you to do:

1. Enable debug logging:
   Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Logging level -> Debug.
2. Reproduce the problem, then remember the exact time when it happened.
3. Collect logs:
   Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Export logs and system info.
4. Send this file to qa@adguard.com:
   • include [android] keyword and 6027 as an issue number in the subject of your email
   • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

Hi, thanks. I've added the IP range for Wikpedia to the exclusion rule in the low-level settings of Adguard. So far I am still in the process of watching the changes in performance. Sometimes Wiki app behaves strangely and I have to clean the cache to make it run smoothly, so I am still uncertain regarding the attribution of reasons for the problem (got over 300 articles bookmarked in the app on my side). So I'd kindly ask to give me some extra time to confirm if the problem persists.

It's kinda uncertain yet. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes the wiki app is unable to load a page, so I have to restart the app or turn off the Adguard protection. I am still uncertain as to what may be causing the problem. However I've observed a similar issue with loading VisualCapitalist website from Feedly and reported the issue here:

I've shared the logs on March, 31st and so far got no response. In the meantime I've also changed the DNS server in Adguard's settings from OpenDNS to Adguard DNS Family and found that visualcapitalist is loading fine now. So I am beginning to wonder if the issue with Wikipedia app is gonna persist too.

Dear Swen90, I really appreciate your patience. I think we may close the issue for now as it's been over a week since I made some changes (incl. change of the DNS service) on my side to stop the issue from further happening, and don't observe it any longer. Thanks again for your response.
