"Cannot Download" error

For some reason, any file I transfer to /data via FTP will not install using the IPI on FW9.00.

I have tried renaming the files to something simple like 'package.pkg' or 'test.pkg', but none will install. I've tried at least 10 different packages if not more, none of them will install.

These same package files install without issue via USB flash drive and the debug 'Package Installer', and they launch without issue either.

is there a log file that is saved somewhere that would point to the cause of the error?

A number of other users are reporting the same error on a few sites I visit, but I didn't see an issue here for it. Essentially USB install works fine, /data folder install does not.

Essentially all IPI does is pass a task to the PS4 and tells it to install the pkg located in /data. From that point on it's in the PS4's hands, not IPI. You can check the Mira logs to see if there's an error occurring.

I figured that was the case. I tried with PS4-Xplorer and received the same error.

Where would I find the Mira logs on a FW9.00 machine? I never installed Mira so I am new to this.

502 bad gateway on the file link, and also... I have no idea what Mira even is. Do I need to run a payload in order to have it run in the background on FW 9.00 or something?

ok I'll check it out. thanks. I'll update this thread if I figure out what's causing it on my end, because I know a lot of other users will come here thinking it's an IPI issue as well.
