Status bar: allow color per Vim mode (Normal/Insert/Visual)

When using Vim mode, it’s hard to get an immediate, preattentive signal of the current mode. Text labels help, but a color-coded status bar
This is such a neat feature it just makes detecting the mode you are in so much faster when you get distracted for a second

i want this feature every vim user i know uses this feature in vim
its a shame people think its a niche thing
