Hi everyone,
I'm analyzing the IFR for my motherboard's BIOS (AMI-based), and I'm trying to verify if it's okay for the "Above 4G Decoding" setting to have this structure:
This is inside the
FormId: 0x40C("PCI Subsystem Settings"), and it's currently grayed out due to:So is it valid/safe for this setting to use
VarOffset: 0x2? I checked and it seems to not overlap any other variable in the sameVarStoreId 0x1.Any insight or confirmation from others who have modified similar settings would be appreciated. Just want to make sure this doesn’t break NVRAM structure or BIOS menu functionality.
Note : IFRExtractor produced 7 txt files from 0 to 6, and the Above 4G Decoding setting is only present in 2 of these 7 files.
Thanks in advance!
