Is it possible to set a specific application (or per node) quantum, such as easyeffects, to a higher number than 1024?

I was wondering if this would be a useful solution to help scale better with plugins such as DeepFilterNet3 and Convolver, and to help with specific applications such as Discord, instead of increasing overall latency for all applications - which could have iffy results since many applications only need a slight boost for their node specifically.

Although doing it inside EasyEffects is probably not possible you can launch your apps in a way that a custom latency request is made. Using Firefox as example you could launch it in a terminal as PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 firefox. Replace 60 by whatever value makes the quantum value displayed by pw-top closer to the one you want the app to use.

On KDE if we click on the launcher menu icon and activate Edit Applications it is possible to set for each app an environment variable value. This way launching them from the terminal is not needed. I imagine KDE isn't the only one providing this kind of feature.
