Could you add support for JPEG2000 (*.j2k or *.jp2) image files?

JPEG2000 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JPEG_2000) is a totally independent format distinct from JPEG.

My understanding is:

On Windows, JPEG 2000 is not supported by default and would require additional codecs or libraries.
On Linux, JPEG 2000 usually works but requires installing extra packages (e.g., OpenJPEG).
On macOS, JPEG 2000 support is available out of the box and generally not an issue.

I am unsure whether this cross-platform situation makes JPEG 2000 a good fit for the project.
If you think it is reasonable and aligns with the project’s direction, I would be happy to prepare and submit a PR.

I'm doing image annotation in a Windows environment and then training the model in a Linux environment.

I hope you can add that.

YOLO training uses the OpenCV library to read image files. OpenCV supports the JPEG2000 format. Image files have the *.jp2 extension.

I’ve added initial JPEG 2000 (.jp2) support in this branch.
If you’re using conda, you can test it via:
