I'm stuck on 'can create a New-Item'

Updated from original post. Can anyone see where I'm going wrong? - Okay new update lol. It's something to do with this line but I cant seem to correctly amend it $File = ____ -Path $FilePath -ItemType File

Omg sorry I got it haha.
$File = New-Item -Path $FilePath -ItemType File
Seems obvious now damn it.
