Cowrie configuration change password

I’m having trouble changing the Cowrie password. After modifying the cowrie.cfg file and restarting the service, the password keeps resetting every time.

My goal is to set a fixed password directly in cowrie.cfg by creating a userdb.txt file, but this doesn’t seem to work.

While looking through the discussion thread, I noticed a few references:

, mentioned in issue #516

You also mention Docker volumes, but I couldn’t find a solution in that direction.
