No. To avoid unexpected edit from the model, I would like the ability to set read-only.

IMHO this should be able to be accomplished through keys with limited scope. Adding in keys with mixed permissions AND MCP with mixed permissions sounds like a headache.

Or supporting pattern matching would be nice too. --tools=*.read

@richardsondx We are thinking of an OAuth consent form where the permissions chosen there will determine the tools shown. Would that solve your issue?
