Fetch Blockaid scan status async

Currently, fetching /account-balances from Freighter BE on Mainnet delivers varied responses times; sometimes as long as several seconds. Why is that? And why does this not appear to be an issue on Testnet?

It looks like our built-in call to Blockaid to attach scanned status on Mainnet makes response times vary quite a bit. Let's fetch just the balances first to get the UI loaded and then get the scan status appended later on

Using a free account on New Relic, I set up synthetic monitoring which hits Freighter's /account-balances endpoint from a number of different locales every 6 hours. Right now, I'm using:

• SF, USA (as a baseline)
• Sau Paulo, BR
• Paris, FR
• Tokyo, JP

I will monitor for a week and report back on the findings. This is the progress so far (Note: SF only has one hit so far because I had mistakenly left it off the list previously) :
