How to blacklist Alcove and other apps without a traditional window?

I'm making the title generally applicable in case other people may find a use case in a potential answer. I tried to search this Discussions tab and Google but I couldn't find an answer for my issue.

I'm using an app called Alcove, which adds a non-traditional window that hides under the MacBook notch. I'm unclear on how to blacklist this notch window for Window Throw because Rectangle Pro recognizes the Alcove notch as a window.

Selecting Alcove notch does not set anything as the front-most window - that remains to be Finder by default. Even then, from my understanding, ignoring a front-most app via Rectangle only blocks trackpad and keyboard input when said app's window is front-most.

Thanks for letting me know about this! There isn't really a way to fix this without a change from my side. Maybe something like a check to see if it's an Alcove window that's smaller than a certain size?

Sounds like a good blanket solution.

Alternatively, chucking rocks here: For Window Throw, is there a possibility under swift to check if window title bar exists or is ignoring user input? The obvious basic idea being to block Window Throw from working if the user wouldn't be able to see or move the window via the title bar on their own.

Also, I've been able to inconsistently replicate this weird issue where Window Throw locates and throws Alcove notch even when my cursor is nowhere near it. I was able to replicate this issue with three windows open (Alcove, Mail, Microsoft Word). Trying to move one of the later two windows has a very small chance of moving Alcove instead. No idea what's going on. I thought it was worth mentioning in case the boundaries of the notch is acting atypical here and affecting how Rectangle Pro decides what is under the cursor.

Excellent point. I will make an option for ignoring windows that don't have a title bar, as that sounds much more robust. It is possible that the Alcove window is larger but is only drawing on part of the window. This will be in the next release.

There's a setting for this in v3.63, let me know if you try it and if it works for you.

@rxhanson That new setting has been working for me since you pushed out 3.63. Rectangle Pro correctly interacts with Alcove based on that option's state. Thanks a bunch!
