Optionally highlight active app/window and/or dim other apps/windows

I was about to look for an app to highlight the active app/window and/or dim other apps/windows. An app like HazeOver or Isolator or DeskCover Pro.

But I have bought a Rectangle Pro license, and it occurred to me that Rectangle Pro already knowns enough about the state of my apps and windows to offer this feature.

Could it please?

Thanks for asking. Indeed, this feels like it would be a good fit for Rectangle Pro. I won't be able to add this in a short timeframe, but it is something I would like to add.

Do you have any specific ideas about how you would prefer this works, like assigning keyboard shortcuts, or menu bar menu items, etc?

Personally, I'd just be looking for the active window to be untouched, and for all inactive windows to be modified by a mix of dimming and/or blurring and/or contrast reduction, each of which could be adjusted in preferences. I'd be looking for this to happen automatically, without a keyboard shortcut, if the settings were in place. But I can imagine other people might have other needs, like the ability to enable/disable this feature with a keyboard shortcut. And I'm sure why own view would change after using v1 of the feature.
