CentOS 8 will reach EOL at the end of the year. AlmaLinux 8 should be a drop-in replacement as far as we are concerned.

The 6 test regressions are caused by ros2/rcl#953. Those were the only regressions, and they're well-understood, so I'm going to move forward with this PR. |
