How to proxy fetch or Request HTTP/s calls in my Remix app on the server side?

On the server side, how can I can make specific individual fetch or Response calls go through a proxy?

Example Scenario

At work, our server's are not allowed to make requests to the external world / internet , unless they go through a specific proxy server.

Solution 1: use @remix-run/node

If you use the fetch or Request API import that comes from @remix-run/node, you can pass additional options like an agent that will allow you to proxy your HTTP/s request on a per request basis.

import ProxyAgent from 'proxy-agent';

const COMPANY_PROXY_AGENT = new ProxyAgent('http://example-proxy.com')

Solution 2: Remix Express Template

If you're using the express template for your remix app, you'll have access to a server.{js/ts} file, where you can make other modifications, if you need more complex solution
