pipenv shell prints a source and an eval expression on my command prompt

When I run pipenv shell, it prints a source and an eval expression right on my shell prompt.

(basketcase) dsilva@helium:~/Code/basketcase$ eval "_pipenv_old_deactivate() { $(declare -f deactivate | tail -n +2) }"; deactivate() { _pipenv_old_deactivate; unset PIPENV_ACTIVE; }
(basketcase) dsilva@helium:~/Code/basketcase$ 

I haven't noticed any problems with the environment it loads; but I don't remember this happening with earlier versions.

• pipenv, version 2026.0.3 (installed with pipx)
• GNU bash, version 5.3.0(1)-release (x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu)
