Feature Request: Ability to Create Discounts for Custom Durations (e.g., 2 Weeks)

Summary:
Currently, Polar only allows creating discounts for a full month. It would be helpful to support custom discount durations, such as two weeks.

Context / Problem:
For our use case, a month-long discount is too long. Our data shows that users often forget their initial purchase after a month and request cancellations. We’d like to experiment with shorter discount periods to improve retention and conversion tracking.

Proposed Solution:
Add the option to set a custom discount duration (e.g., 7, 14, or 21 days) instead of being limited to one month.

Benefits:

Allows creators to better align discounts with user behavior.

Enables more flexible A/B testing on pricing and retention.

Reduces churn caused by forgotten long-term subscriptions.

Additional Notes:
If there’s already a workaround (API parameter, hidden setting, etc.), happy to try that too.

Thank you for your suggestion. However, I'm not sure I understand how it would work 🤔

If we consider a monthly subscription, what would mean a "2-weeks" discount?

The way I see it, a discount applies on the amount a customer has to pay, it doesn't really affect the cycle of the subscription itself.

What I meant was, if a customer "purchases" today, he will be billed for the first time after 2 weeks.

Giving him a 2 weeks trail period instead of 1 month.

I see! So I guess what you want is a proper trial period instead of a discount. We added support for it recently: https://polar.sh/docs/features/trials
