Wiki Pages and Error 404 for collaborators

I am a professor who has assigned my students to create a wiki on a topic related to our class content. I've never had any problems with students creating a repository and then inviting collaborators to work on the wiki. All of the sudden some of my students who are added as collaborators are getting 404 Error page messages when they try to edit a wiki page or create a new page. I cannot figure out why this is suddenly happening. I've had two groups this semester do the project with no problems but the 3rd group has 2 of the 4 students getting the error. We've tried having them create a new account with a different email but that has not worked. Can someone please help me with this problem. My students cannot complete their projects and they are due in a couple of weeks!

Hello @Dr-Bullock,
First ensure that students have the correct access to the repository with at least "Write" permissions. Make sure the wiki feature is enabled in the repository settings. Verify that they are using valid page names and the correct URL format for editing. Clearing browser cache and cookies, using a compatible browser, and checking GitHub's status page can also help resolve the issue.

Hello.
I have the same issue as @Dr-Bullock and I cannot solve it. In my repository I have two collaborators. Both can modify the repo, but one of the two is not able to modify the wiki. They have the same permissions though.
My best guess is that it depends on whether the account is new or not. The collaborator who modifies the wiki has had the account for a long time, while the one who cannot collaborate has just opened it for the sake of (not) contributing to the wiki. I know that there are some limitations for new users, would this be one of them? I haven't found anything in the blog.

I had the same issue with @nonsonopippo, basically a new user to our repo cannot edit the wiki page and one user who had an account for a while can. Has anyone figured this out? Thanks!

same error here; I created my account three days ago and on trying to access the wki I receive the 404 message, too. Looking forward to a reply/solution.
