I have recently started preparing for the CIPS Level 5 Module L5M7 – Managing Supply Chain Risk exam, and I wanted to ask for some guidance from those who have already taken it or are currently studying for it. Right now, I am focusing on understanding the basics of supply chain risk management. I have started with topics like identifying different types of risks, how to assess them, and what tools are used for mitigation. I am also reading about real-life examples of supply chain disruptions to understand how theory connects with practice.
To strengthen my preparation, I have been using Pass4FutureCIPS L5M7 Practice Exams. They are helping me understand the exam pattern and the way L5M7 questions are framed. I find the L5M7 practice tests useful for spotting my weak areas and improving my time management. However, since I am still new to this module, I am not sure if I am covering everything in the right order. I want to make sure I am not missing any important sections from the syllabus. So, I wanted to ask the community members here:
What should I focus on after learning the basics of risk identification and mitigation?
Are there any particular models or frameworks that usually appear in the exam that I should study early?
How much emphasis should I put on case study practice versus theory reading?
Do you think using L5M7 practice exams regularly is enough, or should I combine them with other resources like study guides or revision notes? I really want to build a clear and effective study plan for L5M7 exam. Any advice, tips, or personal study methods from those who have already passed or are currently preparing would be a huge help. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning from your experiences.
