| Hey, @prathamesh-borkar! Thanks for reaching out! If your GitHub Pages site is being flagged as dangerous or deceptive, it usually means that a browser or third-party safety provider (like Google Safe Browsing) has temporarily marked your domain. This can happen for a few different reasons - such as outdated scripts, mixed-content issues, or misconfigured redirects. We’ve published a short guide that walks you through the most common causes and how to fix them: It includes troubleshooting steps, verification guidance, and links to request a review once everything’s fixed. Best of luck! |

Hello GitHub Support Team,
I’m facing an issue with my GitHub Pages site being marked as a “dangerous site” by browsers.
Earlier, my site was working fine, but after I changed my GitHub username, the deployed site started showing a security warning (“Deceptive site ahead” or “Dangerous site”). To troubleshoot, I changed my username again, and surprisingly, the site started working normally — but that caused my GitHub Student Developer Pack benefits to be removed, since my verification was linked to the old username.
I have now reverted to my original username and re-applied for GitHub Education benefits, but the dangerous site warning has appeared again for my GitHub Pages link.
Could you please help me resolve this issue or review my Pages site to remove the false “dangerous site” warning?

I believe it might be related to the GitHub Pages domain reputation or caching from the previous username change.
