Project repository root directories are increasingly cluttered with more and more tooling configuration files. In response, there is a growing movement for tools to search for their configuration files under a
.configdirectory, which declutters the repo root. Unfortunately this problem has to be solved one tool at a time...Towards this end, I think GitHub should search for github-related configs underneath the
