I’ve been reading about “enterprise software” and “normal” consumer software, but I’m still confused. What actually makes software “enterprise”?
From what I gather:
Consumer Software:
Made for individuals
Simple, user-friendly
Low cost, minimal setup
Enterprise Software:
Made for businesses or organizations
Handles complex operations and large data
High security, scalable, often integrates with other systems
Expensive, often needs IT teams for maintenance
TL;DR: Consumer = for you. Enterprise = for the company.
Anyone has good examples of enterprise software that shows these differences clearly?
