Copilot Pro Chat Not Working in VS Code

Hi everyone,

Hello,

I have an active Copilot Pro subscription through the GitHub Student Developer Pack. Copilot code completions are working in VS Code, but Copilot Chat gets stuck at "Working..." and never responds, even though Copilot Chat and Pro features are enabled in my settings.
I have:
Logged out and back in
Reinstalled the Copilot extension
Cleared cache and tried on a different network
Verified my Pro subscription and enabled Copilot Chat in my account

But Copilot Chat still does not work in VS Code.
Please check if my account’s Copilot Chat access is correctly enabled on your backend, and advise on any solution.
