I've gone ahead and moved this to the correct category for you, Enterprise. Good luck!

The fastest fix is to accept the pending owner invite for the new organization from your personal account. After a conversion GitHub sends an org owner invitation to the account you selected. Sign in as your personal account and open the org invites page directly at org name then invitation. If you see the invite accept it and you will become owner. To confirm it worked open the org People page and check that your role shows as Owner. If there is no invite and no other owner exists you cannot fix this yourself. Reply to your existing support ticket and state that the organization is ownerless after account conversion. Include the org name the username that was converted when the conversion happened and proof of control such as the billing email or invoice id or the ability to place a DNS TXT record on a verified domain. Support can attach your personal account as owner after verification. If you use Enterprise and have enterprise owners ask one of them to add your personal account as an org owner from the enterprise level. If that is not available keep working through the support ticket since only GitHub can restore ownership when no owners remain. If this solved it please mark the answer as helpful so others can find it. |

You’ve taken the correct step by creating a support ticket. Only GitHub Support can restore ownership for an ownerless organization. Please wait for their response and ensure the associated email remains active for verification. |
