Hello,

Could somebody at GitHub help me uploading Umeå university Harvard and Oxford styles so that they can be used Umeå University Library Primo search engine:

You can use the following instruction to upload the Umeå University Harvard and Oxford styles:

"The CSL Project compiles CSL Styles from the Github into a new CSL Release and uploads them to
https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/public/org/citationstyles/styles/

Then updated CSL Release is added into Primo VE Release. However, the latest release included in that repository is 25.4 which was uploaded in April 2025, so any citation styles that were added or changed after April are not included in that repository and can't be updated in Primo. When updates are added to that repository, Primo VE will update the CSL."

If we check the latest CSL .tar : https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/public/org/citationstyles/styles/25.4/

It does not contain your citation style, therefore it hasn't been uploaded to Primo eventhough it was successfully submitted via GitHub on October last year.

As this is 3rd party, we do not have any control over this repository. You must contact them, so they can add the citation style to the .tar file (point them to the link: https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/public/org/citationstyles/styles/ )

After the citation is added to the .tar, the following will apply: "Primo VE updates the CSL pool of styles on a monthly basis. However, each Primo VE release contains a CSL styles package that was finalized about two months before the release. For example, if there is an update to a CSL style in July 2025, this change is packed into the September release, which is the release that our development team worked on during July. This means that the update to the CSL style will only be visible to customers in September."
