I started using copilot to replace colors with my variables in CSS, but after one time i got rate limited and i've been unable to use copilot in Codium app anymore

GitHub Copilot applies rate limits to prevent excessive or automated requests. If you were using Copilot intensively (for example, triggering many suggestions quickly or across multiple files), you may have temporarily hit that limit.

When that happens, Copilot can stop responding or show connection errors — especially in third-party editors like VSCodium, which use unofficial integrations.

To fix it:

Wait a few hours — rate limits usually reset automatically.

Make sure you’re using the latest Copilot extension.

Try signing out and back in with your GitHub account.

If you’re on VSCodium, note that Copilot isn’t officially supported there; you might face ongoing authentication or rate-limit issues. Using Visual Studio Code (official) is recommended for full Copilot functionality.
