However, when I use GitHub Copilot with premium models, it always falls back to the free models. get me message Could you please check my account and help me resolve this issue? |

Hi @AbdullahAbbas08, The message you’re seeing isn’t about your subscription expiring — it means you’ve hit the premium model request allowance for your current billing cycle. GitHub Copilot Pro ($10/month) includes premium models, but they come with a fair-use cap. When you exceed that cap, Copilot automatically falls back to the included GPT-4.1 (which is still premium compared to the free tier, but not the “on-demand” premium models). ✅ A few things you can check:
👉 If you believe your usage hasn’t exceeded the cap, or the fallback happens too early, I’d recommend opening a GitHub Support ticket |

Thanks for clarifying. From your description, it looks like your Copilot Pro renewal went through, but the premium usage counter didn’t reset when your new billing cycle started. That’s why the system is still showing usage from the previous month and falling back to free models.
