Accessing Enterprise audit log REST API using GitHub app authentication

We are trying to access the enterprise audit logs through REST API using github app authentication and we are not able to get the response. Getting the below error message:

Is github app authentication supported for the enterprise audit logs or only PAT supported?

GitHub App authentication is not supported for Enterprise Audit Log REST API.

• Only Personal Access Tokens (PAT) or OAuth tokens from an enterprise owner with the required permissions can access these endpoints.
• To resolve this, generate a PAT with admin:enterprise scope from an enterprise owner account and use it for authentication.

Example (using PAT with cURL):

Replace:

YOUR_ENTERPRISE_ADMIN_PAT → with your Personal Access Token

ENTERPRISE_NAME → with the slug of your enterprise
