A few suggestions that might help:

🔹 Beginner-friendly open-source: First Contributions, EddieHub Community, and some GitHub Education partner repos are perfect starting points.

🔹 Student Pack perks: Along with GitHub Pro and domains, definitely try the cloud credits (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) for hands-on practice. They’re super useful for projects.

🔹 Events & hackathons: Check out Devpost and MLH (Major League Hacking) — they regularly host remote-friendly hackathons that are great for students.

Would love to see your portfolio once it’s up! Maybe we can even collaborate on a project sometime. ✨

About the cloud credits — I wasn’t sure how or where to use them, but now I’ll try hosting my portfolio or maybe a small project on DigitalOcean/AWS. Sounds exciting! 🚀

I’ve never joined a hackathon before, but Devpost and MLH sound interesting — I’ll explore them soon.
