Push Notification of Approved PR contains PR id, but not PR title

When i receive a push notification in my android app about someone approving my PR, the notification contains my PR ID number (which is not very helpful for me to know which PR is this about).

Instead, showing the PR title would be much more useful as that way i can tell if it needs my immediate attention or can it wait.

or maybe, simply ask the Devs to mention you and the Direct Mentions in Mobile Push Notif is on ? while it's not yet implemented, as a workaround

That still relies on the dev's conscious action of explicitly mentioning me. I believe, the GitHub app as a system itself can do more to simply inform us with more context about the PR, than us having to rely on what other devs do.

I agree that including the PR title in the push notification would be much more useful than just the PR ID. It would help contributors quickly identify which PR needs attention.

As a temporary workaround, you might ask the Devs to mention you in the PR — if Direct Mentions in Mobile Push Notifications are enabled, this could trigger a more informative notification.

It would be great if the team could consider updating the notification system to include PR titles in the future.

Sure. That's what we have to tell others to do. However, my notification itself having the PR title lets me decide if i want to act on it urgently or not - whether the devs feel the need to mention me or not.

Include PR Title in Notification Payload

• The push notification system should send the PR title along with the PR ID

Update Push Notification Service

Update App UI to Display PR Title:
The app should show a notification like:
"Your PR 'Fix login bug on Android' was approved"

This way contributors can quickly identify the PR without relying on the ID only.

Devs can mention the contributor (@username) in the PR if Direct Mentions notifications are enabled. This provides a more informative notification until the PR title is included automatically.
