activity feed incorrectly shows "deleted branch main" upon every PR merge

We have many repos, all of which are configured to automatically delete PR branches upon merge. Our PRs are usually set to automerge upon approval and required checks passing.

When such a PR is automerged, the activity feed always shows <user> deleted branch <the PR branch>, followed by <user> deleted branch main (the default branch which PRs merge into).

main is protected by branch protection rules; it is not getting deleted.

There appears to be a bug in how the activity feed presents PR merges and branch deletions.

I'm seeing a similar issue when manually merging feature branches into our "dev" branch. After merging and manually deleting the feature branch my dashboard incorrectly shows branch "dev" was deleted. Just submitted a bug report.
