My account just says "your user account has been flagged, and cannot search code".

I can not search code now and I can not see the issues of my project.

I have finished the 2FA rightly.

I want to make a support request but it needs the phone number and China is not in the support area.

Anyone can help?

This issue usually happens when GitHub flags an account for unusual activity, even if it's unintentional. When an account is flagged, certain features like code search, viewing issues, or even pushing to repos might be restricted.

Since you've already enabled 2FA, that's great — it's often a required step to regain access.

Unfortunately, GitHub Support currently limits direct support based on region, and as you've noticed, China isn't listed in the support form options for phone verification.

However, here’s what you can try:

1. Open a ticket without phone number (if possible): Try selecting “GitHub.com” and “Account Questions” from the GitHub Support page. Use the description field to explain the issue and mention that phone verification is unavailable in your country.

2. Use GitHub Feedback: Alternatively, you can post in GitHub Community Discussions - Account related category and politely ask for help — sometimes staff members respond there.

3. Wait and keep checking: Sometimes flags are temporary and auto-clear within a few days, especially if the system flagged your account by mistake.
