Based on trends in our feedback, we’ve learned that the Teams route of the Copilot Metrics API returns data that is not meeting our goals for our customer’s experience. In light, we have made the decision to temporarily pull the Teams route from production. We plan to re-enable the route by the end of June, at latest. During this time the team will implement a collection of fixes intended to improve end users’ data experience.

We are also planning to introduce a collection of improvements to the seats endpoint of the User Management API. Without interruption of service, these will include expanding the endpoint to support both Basic and Full Enterprises, and providing a flat list of all Copilot users with their last_activity_date. This functionality is analogous to the Get Report button that is currently available in the Enterprise Settings UI for both Full and Basic Enterprises. Customers will now be able to pull these results programmatically, rather than rely on a manual export process.

Are there any updates on the team metrics returning in some form? Or some more detailed breakdown of an organization's usage rather than a general summary?

Has the Teams detail been re-enabled? ETA was end of June but there is no update on this issue.

Any news on team copilot metrics API? It's August and per https://github.blog/changelog/2024-05-09-github-copilot-metrics-updates/ it says it's going to be reenabled by "june at latest."

What about user-level copilot metrics? My org has a use case where we want granular copilot usage metrics. Thanks in advance!
