How to log in using `allurectl` + Google OAuth (LDAP)? #3053

Hello Everybody, I hope you all is enjoying your week!

My team turned on the LDAP option, and now I can't use allurectl on my local machine using the API TOKEN, even using the auth login command:

 % ./allurectl auth login --endpoint https://allure.company.com --token $ALLURE_API_TOKEN                                                               
2025/07/09 16:47:37 Get "https://allure.company.com/api/uaa/account/me": invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value

The < mentioned from the above log comes from the HTML returned. Simple check:

@edantas-tv Hi Eric,
When working with allurectl it does not matter what is the used authentication method for an end user.
The problem seems to be the incorrect token was provided for allurectl or the endpoint you are using has become unavailable (restricted acccees or generally the URL has changed) for the machine where you run allurectl.
this string: invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value
means allurectl received HTML page as response to the authenticatuon attempt. Allure TestOps never sends HTML as response, this could mean there is a network element between you and Allure TestOps that sends some HTML response (e.g. nginx).

What you can do to troubleshoot is using this option: https://docs.qameta.io/allure-testops/ecosystem/allurectl/#test-result-upload-debugging

If debug log won't help. Try to generate a new token for allurectl.
If new token won't work, please use this page to get Allure TestOps decicated support: https://docs.qameta.io/allure-testops/support/#help-desk-portal
