Chargeback on Openshift based PODs and Container Services always blank

Provider intergration - Openshift ( both containers and virtualmachines)
what is the issue: chargeback report shows no records found for containers
what is the expectation: I want to see chargeback for container based pods utilizations. Prometheus intergration has been done and we could see utilization both at container service, container pods and virtual machine level. Tagging has been done for all container pods, container service and we want to group chargeback by department . Note that we see chargeback for virtual machines but not container. Is there a way to pull chargeback for container differently

Thank you @kbrock . Am hoping @agrare can suggest what can be done. We are doing evaluating on whether manageiq supports charge back based on container services which is tagged to different business units. These container services have performance data. I also noted I cant see container service charge back report OOB in the manageiq. When Selecting charge back for images as base report it works but reporting is required for services and not just images. see images

I'm actually surprised we have metrics for services...I didn't think those had metrics. @agrare Do we collect those directly, or are those rolled up from the underlying pods?

We do rollup metrics from container_groups/pods to container_services, https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/blob/master/app/models/container_service.rb#L39

Thank you so much for this clarity @agrare . Is there an API to use to retrieve this? Am just trying to see what work around I could possibly use to get chargeback for this.

Hi @Fryguy it will be good if this can be added back to roadmap. Will be glad to help in any way. I have temporarily pulled this data and using Apache Superset to report it as seen below but having this natively is no brainer.

This is the old roadmap item I had opened for it: #22290, however I don't see any PRs attached. I know we didn't complete it, but I'm pretty sure it was started.
