Members and roles were not being explicitly sorted which was causing some intermittent test failures. Apparently these failures were being exacerbated by the seemingly unrelated changes to password resets.

This should resolve #998. There were some questions about potentially rewording the email a bit, but I'm not sure that that is really a major issue at this point.
